What Gaurmon is
Gaurmon is a household meal-planning and grocery app operated from Toronto, Canada. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and name, handled by our sign-in provider (Clerk), so you can access your household.
- Household food data — the meal plans, pantry items, shopping lists, recipes, and preferences you and your household members create. This is the product working, stored securely with our database provider (Supabase).
- Usage analytics — anonymous-by-default product metrics (page performance, feature usage) via PostHog, used only to make the app better. We do not record your screen.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal data.
- We never share your household's food data with advertisers.
- We never use your data to train AI models. AI features process your household context only to generate your own plans.
Service providers
Gaurmon runs on Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Clerk (authentication), PostHog (analytics), and AI model providers that process meal-planning requests. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Your choices
You can ask us to export or permanently delete your account and household data at any time — email us and we'll handle it within 30 days. Push notifications and analytics are optional and can be declined.
